The local arts/crafts are not publicized or marketed here. They are more a part of everyday life, and need a keen eye to discern them. Whatever is made, has a utility, and serves to provide a modest living. |

| Garli is a melting pot of magnificent arts, crafts, customs and lifestyle of Himachal culture. And like most other villages, Garli is witnessing a decline in the local arts and crafts. However, the more inquisitive shall be able to get the village folk to showcase Kangra leaf paintings, Kangra miniature paintings, local ethnic hand woven clothes, and some striking pottery. |

| The village potter sells some beautiful pieces, especially the uniquely designed hand-warmers. Other interesting products from the village are colourful woven baskets, thin but warm shawls, patchwork cloth for, and some other items you may want to purchase from the locals. |

| In an effort to revive the dying craft, activities have become in promoting the adoption of local crafts amongst the youth as a means of providing livelihood. The youth of Garli will shortly attend classes to start the transfer of knowledge to the next generation. |
